Time to think: personal effectiveness

I once had a boss (Fred Cruger—not Freddie Krueger!) who said you could make anyone feel guilty by accusing them of procrastination.

Today, I found a good, thought-provoking piece on procrastination from Paul Graham, which led me to a speech by Richard Hamming on being an effective researcher.

Take a few minutes in this last week of 2005 to read and contemplate personal effectiveness.

For those who read Making Sense with Facilitated Systems, and for those with whom I've worked or come in contact in 2005, thanks, and best wishes for a very good 2006!
