Global warming?

European mountains lack snow. It's springtime in Bonn and New York. Germans worry about tropical diseases at home. It must be global warming, right?

But Colorado is covered in snow, and the Pacific Northwest is drenched and about to get snow. It can't be warming if it's snowing, right?

For a reasoned approach to the subject that's technical enough to be credible but not too technical to lose people, see RealClimate's El Nino, Global Warming, and Anomalous U.S. Winter Warmth.
