More cause for skepticism in reading

Agreeing to Disagree at Numbers Rule Your World paints a sad picture. 

If we had the time, we should all do the research or read the primary research.  We don't.  That's why we read or listen to the news or more popular books and articles.

Do yourself—do society—a favor, and at least be careful, no matter whether you're reading or writing.

Numbers Rule Your World posted a follow-up. It seems the need to pay attention to conclusions made in the news about numbers is broader than first reported.
